English Harbour

English Harbour derives its name from the eighteenth century when the Royal Navy used the location as its base of operations. Proud of its rich history, English Harbour celebrates its origins, and visitors can get a glimpse of the past at Nelson's Dockyard, where they can view the restored buildings and artifacts from the dockyard's colonial days. Other attractions include several beaches, a multitude of opportunities for sailing and yachting, and many natural wonders, including Devil's Bridge, a natural limestone formation caused from centuries of ancient reef formation.
